Columbia Composers presents a concert of new works for live instruments with surround electronics. Solo mixed works for cello, flute, bass clarinet and electric bass will be performed by virtuosic New York musicians. A hybrid classical-pop work by Czech composer Jiri Kaderabek will be performed by the stellar soprano Julianne Klein, along with the composer himself and a pick-up band of Columbia musicians. Last but not least, a new work by Jeff Snyder for two of his notorious custom-built electronic instruments, featuring the versatile Erin Lesser and Natascha Diels. |
